What's new in Sage CRM version 6.1
Sage CRM v6.1 focuses on usability, compatibility and ease of administration. Key features of this release are:
- Quotes and Orders Improvements – making the creation and management of quotes and orders quicker and easier. The visual workflow tool has been enabled and allows users to follow easy, repeatable processes.
- Outlook Integration Enhancements – easier to install and additional options make it more flexible and easier to use.
- Calendar Day View layout – allows users to manage their diaries more easily.
- Button Groups – new buttons may be added, easily and without coding, to system screens to customise the system to meet customer needs.
- Field Delete – allows you to keep the system tidy and easy to administrate by making customisation of the system, to meet customer needs, easier.
- Customising through the .NET framework – allows development partners to use their favourite tool and use the leading edge .NET technologies to customise Sage CRM.
- MS Windows Vista and Office 2007 support – login to Sage CRM whilst using the latest offerings from Microsoft.
- 64 bit operating system support – install the Sage CRM server on the latest technology.
Please note, from this release onwards we no longer offering support for Oracle 9i and IBM DB2.
From Dec 2007 onwards, there will be no different 'Standard' or 'Advanced' versions but just one Sage CRM version. This will have everything that the old Advanced version had - including Marketing, Customer Service, Solo, PDA integation, Web Self Service and CTI.
